reflection.

reflection.

A Poem by Ashtaroth

sometimes I forget

that I have hair

and it needs to be combed

and washed

and cut

so that I look

presentable.

sometimes I forget

that I have a face

and it has expressions

and emotions

and eyes

so that I look

alive.

sometimes I forget

that I have a body

and it has fat

and curves

and breasts

(that I have to hide)

so that I look

like a man.

and.

sometimes I forget

that I have feet

that can walk

and run

and crawl

and move me away

so that I can leave

and be happy

and be free

and be alive

(for real this time)

sometimes I forget

that I can be real.
