What the Wind Knows

What the Wind Knows

A Poem by Astraeaa

Sometimes,
It's just a whistling sound of wind.
But there are times,
It unravels of what is long forgotten.
In a quiet word,
It spoke in blood and bones.
Whispers of memories,
turns into stories
Of fates no one utters.
An ending with no one remembering,
But the wind always knows.

I agree dear Astraeaa.
"An ending with no one remembering,
But the wind always knows."
I wrote a similar poem. I do believe the sea, the wind keep our secrets. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry and your thoughts.

You are welcome dear Astraeaa. I will research and see if I can find.
Beautifully written poem. It seems like you have created a third dimension to wind….as if it is a person who may know more than us humans. It has a dimension all on its own and always knows ….
Best,
Betty
