Dance in the fire

Dance in the fire

A Poem by Audrey - Butterfly Woman
"

a poem describing the bittersweet torment of love and passion

"

“Dance in the fire”

How you burn me with your touch

Each moment apart an exquisite torment

Let me dance in the fire

Feel it sear my soul

Your disciple, lover and home

Kisses, sweeter than nectar

No ambrosia could sustain my soul as you do

I breathe your scent

Filling my senses with the divine

Distance and time, we have no regard for

Moments, precious moments, lasting for an eternity

Come rest your head upon my breast

Listen to my heart beat for you

Feel my breath against your skin

Bathe in my pleasures

Am I not your destiny?

Shelter from the storm

Sustenance from famine

I am you and you are me

How we hunger, how we yearn

Each the others harmony

I must agree with Nicole that I thought of sex, perhaps that's just where my mind goes. It is written in such a way that it could be interpreted as almost anything the reader wants it to be. Well done! I do believe the first line was supposed to say, "How you burn me" not "How your burn me."

When I read this, hot passionate seckz popped into my head. Haha, its good. I really like it, and I love how you used fire as an example of passion. If that makes sense. :S But I really like it. :)
