Seer

A Poem by Mother Maggie

Author's Note

Mother Maggie
poet, philosopher, prophet
observing
past and future
gazing out
from the present
from singularity

light and dark—balanced
shadows dancing
with rays of the sun

Maiden Seed—sprouted
rises
stretching her leaves
to a brightening horizon
as mighty Grandfather Oak
shatters Mother Earth
with his fall

time is not linear

Totally. Feeling that. The fall is just the beginning of a new aspect of the cycle. I spent some time with my back up against a tree today. Working on the fifth floor is too far from Earth for my liking. The visualisation here helped to ground me. Much appreciated!

This one has me at a loss.
Perhaps I have been out of the fold for a bit too long. I like the ideas it creates in a visual sense. But you got me when it comes to meaning, sorry.
