St. Ignatius of Loyola

I read in my copy of “The Mini Book Of Saints,” the hardcover 3” x 3” book,

that Ignatius, born in 1491, was a page in the Spanish court of Ferdinand and Isabella.

My question is, what page? Was it near the end, like page 349? Or maybe at the beginning, page 3 or 4.

Ignatius, before he became a saint, wanted to be a glorious knight, but was wounded in battle, and while recuperating, read “The Golden Legend.” He then turned in his sword at the altar of the Virgin of Mantserrat.

Yes, Iggy, you're not alone,

yet, most of us are not saints.

So, well done, my friend.
