Geese Mate For Life

wondering what this means for us and them

I heard geese mate for life

How can they tell?

 

I imagine sometimes

Ralph the Goose

might say,

 

“Hey, Steve.

That’s not your wife!”

 

Geese, mating for life:

What did they gain?

Did they invent fire?

Guess not.

They didn’t invent the wheel either,

but, now that I think of it,

they can fly,

so, maybe,

they didn't need it.

And, what do you need fire for

if you just eat salad?
