happily ever after

happily ever after

A Poem by Avanthika
"

Do some one really believes in "happily ever after". For the ones who do believe in happily ever after end good for you and for those who dont believe in it , here's a composition for you.....

"

You read a comic, you make a laughter,
Because the story ends happily ever after.

But life is not a fairy a tale,
Many a times you may fail
While you look for prosperity,
there will always be irregularity.

When rational's are newly arisen,
find yourself in state prison
life spent alone in jail,
no one to get you out in bail.

Thoughts gathered in the drafter,
never like to remember thereafter.
you regret things hereafter
realizing life is not happily ever after.
Life is not happily ever after.

hi avanthika ,
this is nice writing.... apologies for reviewing it late.. i will split this review into two sections what i liked and what i got confused about.
the things that i liked:
1) great theme to dig upon.
2) mixed emotions.

things that found weird about
1) you could have used better words
2)thereafter, hereafter and drafter these words are founded to be stressed to rhyme
3) there is no connection between of first two lines to rest of the piece

well , its just suggestion no offense... enjoyed reading it
keep smiling :) peace

glad u liked it :)
Life can seem hard.
"Life is not happily ever after."
But I believe we can find a happy ending. Just need to look for the proper place and people. The poem had a negative feel. Life can seem unfair. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

thank you..........
Some consideraion should be put into the words especially on them first lines but you will probably do that yourself so let's throw away them pesky corrections. I love this theme! and I agree with you. Is not that the wisdom behind the expression is wrong per se. Is that its time has past and now happily ever after well, just sounds empty. Five minutes of TV or three minutes of newspappers or go to town and walk around to see the espression of people's faces and the sensation should be "We are at risk of something" " We better try to change our ways" Why?

Well maybe becuase there won't be an after, nevermind the happy bit.

Thankyou
