Release of Hope

Release of Hope

A Poem by Double T
"

Inspired from the hit movie Shawsake Redemption

"
Life is like building blocks
We tend to our way to the top
And find our goals in tact
Then one incident tears it down
Our dreams are crushed
Our hopes are smashed
There's nothing left
Nothing but guilt
Guilt is a prison
It can lock you inside its cell
Beat you with a stick
And shot you down with a sniper rifle
You're finished with a beard in solitary confinement
But there's hope
It's in a pipline full of crap
If you can escape guilt,
get a rock
Break the solid boundaries of fear
Get in the pipline and crawl through the crap
Like there's no tommorow
Then out of the outside is light
Fear can hold you like a prisoner
Hope can set you free
So there are two choices
Get busy living of get busy dying

Consider this to be my redeming factor the of last two poems I wrote. This one actullay came from my heart when I typed this one from the notebook I had written one.

So tell what do think about? What did you think of the inspiration? Was it good?

Lovely work! It's as inspiring as the movie shawshank redemption. Keep writing(y)
Looks like a minor fix in the last line : Get busy living 'or' get busy dying
