DIAPHANOUS

DIAPHANOUS

A Poem by Ani Ashford
"

Love poem/ musing

"

Diaphanous is love,

hanging like silky gossamer

threads of the spider

gleaming in the morning sunlight.

Each tenuous strand

hangs quivering,

suspended between earth and heaven.

Sticky trap; strong enough.

oh, this was cute! I liked the love/web/sunlight connection! A morning web is like the glistening and shimmering feelings of love when the dew catches the sunlight and brings it back into our eyes!
Great Write! :)

Clever wording and descriptive detailing of spider strands, followed by the final allusion at the end which sums up this piece. Good write!
