Echo's Silence

Echo's Silence

A Poem by Kaelee Wyant
"

This is what happens when you listen to the voices in your head.

"
Bouncing off the walls
Hear it in your head
Be a little careful
Or you'll end up dead
Painting on the walls
Letters that will run
Smile at the master piece
When the work is done
Silence wrecks the calm
The voices just won't rest
You shake your fist at god
For this hateful test
Tears are running red
Shadows will appear
Listen to the voices
The ones you clearly hear
They try to make you different
But you're on your own
Sinking in the freezing water
Tied to a stone

Kaelee Wyant
Someone drown themselves at the lake down the road from me. I don't know, this is kind of in memory of that.
