Time

Time

A Poem by Brette Medb

Forever ago there was a time
When the sand slowed down
And the clock stopped ticking
Pausing the quickened breath
And the pounding heart
Of a troubled, worried mind.
Then in a mere moment
Time sped up revealing
If only for a second a life,
A life unlived waiting,
Forever waiting for it to begin.

The inception of life..even the thought is so intriguing, too much to comprehend how something came from nothing. Good piece!

This is brilliant! A perfect capturing of that realization, that exact moment in time when awareness occurs. That exact moment when we realize perhaps it's time for a change.

A life unlived waiting, Forever waiting for it to begin: Excellent
Sometimes alot of people wait for their life to begin!

Sounds a lot like a person coming of age from youth to adult.
