WHEN THE LAST PETAL FALLS............

VANITY....

When the last petal falls…

And all those giving adoration

Gone, what is really left of life to carry on?

 

When plump subtle appendages are

Dry and withered, who cares to look

Or even to smell my nonexistent fragrance

Gone just as well-

 

Then "

I saw them sweep pieces of dead petals

As well as beautiful ones taken

Down by the weight of the fallen;

 

As all the beings were eyes,

And being only one vessel

One organism;

Giving way to the reality

The realization of becoming...

 

Transcending through a brilliant light

An epiphany

With glaring clarity and knowing

Fading and disappearance
