This LifeA Poem by BL4KB1RDAn old attempt at writing a story in a poem
There wasn't much I wanted from this Life,
A simple existance with out too much Strife. The world is cold and doesn't like Favors, It sure as hell won't sign any Waivers. I put up with everything that life gave Me, Though my fallen tears had created a Sea. Heart ache and I weren't my idea of Strangers, I soon understood all of the world's Dangers. I longed for a love that I could call Mine, I waited and prayed life would give me a Sign. My wait lasted quite a while I must Admit, And it didn't take long for us to Split. Life has a way of stabbing you in the Back, Crap piles up and it weighs until you Crack. I stood strong and true for as long as I Could, Which was probably alot longer than I Should. I tried to keep my sanity, as long as it would Last, But it wasn't too long until it shattered like Glass. With my sanity gone and my life torn to Shreds, I joined the Army, I wanted to bust some Heads. It wasn't long til they recognized my Talent, They soon called me "Warrior! The Gallant!" Life was fine and everything was Dandy, So I tried to get me some of that Brandy. I woke to find myself in my Jail Cell, My staff sargeant, he could only Yell. My friends at the bar no longer Existed, They said I had changed and was Twisted. So here I sit because it's my turn Soon, They told me to be prepared just about Noon. The chair for me is my Sentence, Maybe through it I can have Repentance. © 2014 BL4KB1RD |
