~~~Fairy Tale~~~A Poem by BL4KB1RDA short poem about a story I never got to share.
Can you see it?
Would you permit? Would you hear my plea? If you saw what I see? A story I know would astound In a book so elegantly bound Do you see why I plead? It's in a language you weren't born to read Maybe if you listen- just hear one word. What was it that you just heard? Was it from what I just read? Or was it from what I have bled? Would you understand this tale? Oh God, every moment is so frail. Torn between the words on the page And the soul locked in its cage. Would you listen to hear me shout? Even this I start to doubt I don't think you'll ever hear From the tale I hold so dear My heart it cries for you to know But the truth is starting to show This truth I hate but I can't deny The story I seek starts to die It's not your fault I cannot blame I was never meant to win this game The barrier is too thick to blend No matter how the story is penned It's not a tale for you to share No matter how my heart laid bear I'll keep the book but I need to move on And look for another way to Dawn © 2016 BL4KB1RD |
