Chapter 3

I wake as the rays of golden sunshine sweep across my face.

Crap whats the time i have a geometry class at 10!

I look over at my clock and its only 8:30 am.

Ahhhh thank god I think to myself.

After i finished getting dressed i walk out to the main living room.

"So how was your night Rose?" Zach Asks Raising his brows

"What are you talking about?" I question him

"I'm talking about with Chris" He says

"I didn't have a night with Chris" I say sternly

"We all saw you two snuggling on the roof" Zach giggles

"Ugh it's a long story, And we weren't snuggling" I say staring Zach down

"Alright alright, but if you ever want to give me the juicy details your welcome" He smiles slyly at me

"Your disgusting Zach"

I walk to the kitchen to make some coffee.

As i turn the machine on Chris walks out of his room.

I look at Zach and stare at him shaking my head quickly.

"Morning Rose"

I quickly look at Chris.

"Morning Chris, would you like some coffee" I offer

"Um yes" He smiles wildly at me showing off his perfectly white heart melting grin

I pour Chris, Zach and myself a cup before flopping down on the couch next to Zach, Chris sits down on the chair opposite to us.

"So Chris wanna play some games with Tyler and me tonight?" Zach questions

"No sorry i gotta go with Becca to this party tonight i promised her" Chris replies

Becca is this schools Queen B.

The wicked B***h of the west.

We all hate her, except Chris.

It's like he is under her spell or something, He acts like he doesn't know what he wants.

"Becca? Really?" I groan

"I don't know why you have something against her, she is really nice once you get to know her" Chris says

"Yeah maybe to you" Zach adds before sipping his coffee

"Chris she is only nice to you because your hot and she wants to get in your pants" I say

"Wow you really think that?" Chris asks

"Do you not remember when she spilt coffee on me and then said she would ruin my reputation if I didn't stay away from you?" I question

"Whatever" Chris frowns

Awkward silence sets in and Chris look into my eyes with sympathy in his own.

"I'm gonna go for a walk guys I think i need a bit of fresh air" I say as I get out of the chair

"Rose I'm sorry"

"seriously it's fine Chris" I say before walking out the door

As i step onto the Quad the icy cold air wisps up around me and right now it feels better than having Chris angry at me.

I walk on the foot paths looking down at the green frosted grass.

"ROSE!"

I look up to see James running towards me

"Oh my gosh, James i have never seen you run before" I say giggling as he reaches me

"Well I never do but your worth running for" He smiles

I smile at him, He leans down and presses his lips against mine, for a moment everything stands still.

It's just us standing in the quad our bodies intertwined with each others.

As he pulls away I look over to the cafe and see Chris with Becca arm in arm.

He stares at me frowning with disappointment.

Hello again, why do you keep doing this Amber?
My emotions are being torn apart XP... right now overall. I love the idea of these two loves because that can happen... unfortunately she is already in a relationship. I'm so sad though that Rose could not confess on the roof. SHE PERPETUATE THE CYCLE!!!
The ending was a freaking surprise! I didn't expect James to run up, but I had a bad feeling of what going to happen as soon as I saw his name in the writing. I'm a bit confuzzled about the end of this chapter. I thought they were in their abode... then it was mentioning something about Chris at the cafe... huh???
Aside from that, amazing job once again Amber, you have such talent. It's so realistic as well, hmm.
