Blue Ball corner Pocket

Blue Ball corner Pocket

A Poem by Ralphy
"

O plant Earth

"

Blue Ball, Corner Pocket

Five thousand years has come and gone
Darkest of age with constant repeat
Lessons lost and drastically wrong
Sinful actions, no surrender, no defeat
I pick the side pocket for blue to drop
The ball will roll and spin on its back
Sinking a ball is like spinning a top
Oh, how I hope I do not have to rack
Do it all again, from the very first spot
Blue ball has much to learn as it passes by
Tempers still flaring and raging hot
Soon, very soon, it will be my turn cry.

Earth has pretty much gone to hell and we're all paying for it by suffering Gaia's wrath. Great poem at first I thought the title said something else lol

Those darn blue balls! (LOL)

Actually, seriously, the metaphor of playing pool is terrific.

I'm not sure of your last line..........

I love this poem. It's got a good message. It flows well and is written beautifully. Although, i did find the font a little difficult to read, but that could just be me. Well done.
