Uranus and Venus

 

I live in a world

of continuous unknowns

a dark distant planet

that cultivates my bones

many call it

a silly name

like the back side

like a derriere

like a anus

oh yeah, Uranus

 

She comes from

a different world

a fire so hot

in a liquid swirl

there are many

actually quite a lot

 

The one thing their missing

we got quite a few...

she love to tease

our planet's name

she calls us  

the anus gang

 

But I got news for her

we changed the name

Its now being called

Ur booty call

We sent them a message

along time ago

they never respond

they never called

We sent out a scout

to search for her

but they never found

No trace, just a blur

 

When the data was gathered

and plotted and mapped

a reconstruction

of her in a snap

showed Venus  had became

a molten rock

 

A flame so hot

like a trillion sun

with nothing to cool

they knew they were done

so they vanished in space

like a fizzled out sun

 

As I heard the news

and my tears

began to fall

I guess we were too late

on our last booty call
