But

But

A Poem by A Christine
"

September 2007

"
They are together, but we are apart.
I want to be with you forever,
but you keep playing with my heart.
I'd tell you that I love you,
But you wouldn't know what to say.
Then she came along.

I told you "please don't leave me."
But you just walked her way.
I weep alone, losing pride.
But where is your heart?
Oh yeah, it's by her side.
