Grandma Ruth

Grandma Ruth

A Poem by A Christine
"

June 2008

"
She hopes for Mr. Right, but all she gets are men money tight.
She has dogs, lots of dogs. Not cats. Not birds. Not Hogs.
Day or night, they won't leave if they fight.
"Men aren't loyal, they become slime. But pets,
Pets are loyal for a lifetime!"
If her dogs put her through hell, to them, all she has to do is sell.
But if a man slaps her around, she gets in her truck ,
and chases him out of town!
