Her Moonlit Sagittariun Sky

You are your own true rival

 a centaur carrying a bow and arrow.

The mirror of plain bluntness,

half beast and half immortal

Curling my sideburns in the storms of your madness.

You are the fire queen

ruling the Solar credentials like Zeus

The ruler of blue  amethysts and purple sapphires.

You have wound yourself around my heart

in your peculiar brand of charm.

I am a pluto ruled lover

the  king of my water empire,

yearning for a naive conflagrating empress

You  found me on the new moon

and I disappointed the incurable idealist in you.

But don't doubt my scorpion faithfulness

because I am a gentle clown with 

a dream or two of my own

who will take the hands of his divine half

and show her the way to the stars.

scorpio....i have known many of you. this poem is a mythological delight, full of blissful and strong imagery. being a cancer, i am drawn to the luna sea of life....(you'll figure that one out) and i love anything about the moon. well done.
