A Numinous Ligature

A Numinous Ligature

A Poem by Balkaran Sidhu

From dustless skies to our earthly oblivion
I have an semblance of her image
the omni-present fragrance
that breeds in the husks of my deficiency.

A rainbow in the cloudless sky
the eternal flame of solar credits,
of motionless definitivity
Her memory is my passion.

From my pale mornings to golden nights,
from the aches of acidic moments
to eternal sighs and gasps of extrication
She rules the dynasty of my metaphors.

These is no finiteness to her divinity
for what I lie awake in moon days
There is no depth that I can preach
in her Ornateness of tender lights.

We yearn for the enduring spring of our youth
In a life gleaming with nature's temptations
for as much as we can love,as much as we can live
finding endless joys in this pious bond.

To love her must be to love the world as well. It appears that she may also have been teaching you dharma ... the poem oozes with it but I'm not seeing a mention.

absolutely...:) :) thank you
not sure if this is relating to the spiritual relationship between you and god, or you another who is on your road, if it is the latter which is the interpretation I am opting for, then ...pious bonds are something very very special, to take friendship to that higher level, where one hardly needs words to understand each other, where there is no taking and giving but both are keeping their single minded devotions on their goal, whilst remembering they are part of the whole, is a gorgeous theme. The flattery and praise you offer here are expressions of the divine glimpses of joy that you seem to have already experienced, so my admiration for this work is deepened in the enthusiasm it encourages to others. Who needs drugs where there are such wonderful mind altering experiences going for free, if only one will work for them.
