Far beyond pain is love

Far beyond pain is love

A Poem by Bambee
"

Some stories aren't written; they are worn.

"

Far beyond pain is Love

“One day, you left us hanging. But Someday, You’ll come back crawling”

I owe you one thing. Your Sperm.

It created something you’ll never have again.

Now it has grown so beautiful, so firm.

You were never there when I needed you the most,

Because you left us without thinking what you've lost.

I hated you since then,

You never knew how I’ve been

I’ve cried a river when you flirted with laughter,

I waited for you from breakfast, lunch ‘til supper

Did you know that mom was ill?

You never knew! You never will!

I could’ve had someone who’d blow my fears away,

When mom was so unsure if she could stay

But you were nowhere to be found

I didn’t hear a single sound

I despised every inch of your flesh

I wished you’d forever vanish

The pain you’ve caused me goes on and on

But there’s something in me that I could not fathom

My heart has grown as hard as a rock,

But why does it long for you to come back?

If only I could see you before either of us bids farewell to the sun,

And tell you that I loved you but I think it’s too late to be done.

You are my father and you will always be.

I’ve cursed you, yes.

But what I know now, is that Far beyond this pain, is love.

Wish you can hear me.

This was written 10 years ago! The anger and resentment is so heavy here “I despised every inch of your flesh, I wished you’d forever vanish”. “But what I know now, is that Far beyond this pain, is love” this is my favorite line. Thanks for sharing this poem Bam, are you sure you are new to writerscafe!? 
