Orion

Orion

A Poem by Bane

I find my gaze upon the stars

Orion

Venus

Sometimes Mars

The lost reflections from far away

Make me think of simpler things

I am just a mortal man

Destined to this orbital land

Lost in space

But somehow found

Lost in life

On the ground

Why do people still obsess

Over phones and cars

And how we dress

If only they would look up there

At this gift

Which we all share

We have a view

For all to see

A window to the galaxy

Stars and planets lost abound

While we stay stuck

On the ground

Awesome! I feel the same way about the night sky. We take it for granted!
