Intertwined Dance

Intertwined Dance

A Poem by Barbara Borel

How I miss thee, your soft sweet lips. You're bewitching gaze, your sugarplum kiss.

Feeling of your arms wrapped around mine. Intertwined dance, language, loss of all time.

We can talk for hours you and I. When in my arms forever, you shall lie.

As for now, you are only but a dream. But you seemed so real it just must seem.

I plan to live with a ghost once before. That life left me beaten, battered and sore.

I dream of the day my dream comes true. When I kiss your warm lips and finally see you.

Until that day comes this dance we must do. In my heart you will be, and I hope I will too.
