Today

Unemployed days.

No need for me to get dressed today

When I have no where to go

Just sit here in my nighttime pants

And listen to the music I love so

 

Leave off my makeup

Who do I have to impress

When there is no need to get up

And look my Sunday best

 

Sip a cup of morning tea

Sipping down good dreams

Detaching myself from the world

And choking on all the real things

 

Feeling destructive,

Listening to the demons in my head

With nothing to do

I'll just waste time in my bed

 

No one is around

So no smile is required

Hanging around till the day is through

And the sun has soon expired
