They screamed at each other

We hid for cover

As the battle went on and on 

Me and my sister

Alone forever

As our parents fought on and on

After nine long years

The war finally ended

Leaving so many in tears

Their screams and insults

From the moment I was born

Still ringing in my ears

Only some know what this feels like

And they all handle it differently

But the best way is to pretend like your over it

Inside you're screaming

Inside you're bawling

But you let that fake smile stay

For it's the only way.....
