A Story by Aprisia Bella
"

These verses resonate with the silent ache of a love torn asunder. Despite unwavering affection, a heartfelt proposal in Perth found itself caught between devotion and the relentless demands of fame,

"

Blue Ceylon sapphire rings in your pocket

We was in Perth lookin’ at the ring

Everything designer match your persona

So you tied a Missoni cotton scarf around my wound

As January draws to a close

Slow dance with Elvis

The tune of turntable replaced by camera flashes

It just makes me uneasy, you know

I used to sip whiskey like your dad

As you moved from stage to stage

"I never saw myself being a rockstar's sweetheart"

I can’t be eclipsed by your fame forever

This story was foreseen

Gently fades into the unknown

Lets write our separate endings, my almost

I don’t wanna be your muse anymore
