In Darkness SleepsA Poem by BelthizorA poem I wrote reflecting my conflicting feelings towards a girl who returns the feelings, but wishes to stay faithful to her boyfriend. A work in progress, but we all gotta start somewhere
Previous Version This is a previous version of In Darkness Sleeps. In darkness sleeps a troubled mind In silence breeds my fears In loneliness my bane doth stir To drag you away from this heart of mine It steals away my precious gem It leaves behind an empty shell It shatters my hope, my desires This pain will never mend I cast my wish into the fire As I fight this last battle 'Tis you I desire for the rest of my life Will you grant my last desire?
