Coming of Age

A rainy day or a stormy night.

The birth of one destined for flight.

A fifty -fifty chance darkness and light.

To save or destroy , all in your might

For with great power comes the need to control,

but with family and friends the path is clear.

Shedding thou holy grail for judgments sight,

see the world through a new eye.

For not what it is but what it can be.

So judge according to their individual sins

( Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate,

Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.

It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us,

Your playing small does not serve the world,

there is nothing enlightening in shrinking so that

other people wont feel insecure around you )

So shine , shine like the all seeing sun.

And jump and run, skip and scream,

and enjoy your life.
