Know That I Too
We are never alone (a poem for mental health month)
A lost lonely teardrop

A lost lonely teardrop

A Poem by BBP

A lost lonely teardrop
Cried in secret
Shed in the moonlight

A lost loney teardrop
Meant for you
Stolen by the night

I hope it finds its way to you
I hope you know it was shed in truth

Lost in the stars
Translated by the moon

If I can't see your face again
I hope the teardop finds you soon

This is an amazing poem!! Youve added so much detail to make us visualize it!
A short, delicate poem breaks the readers into so much thoughts! It could mean so much... Thats what your poem did... took the readers into a short and sweet journey as poem and it ended so suddenly... but the flow made it better...

No problem :)
You deserve the best
If I can't see your face again
I hope the teardop finds you soon

mmmm so many tear drops are shed in loneliness for the one we love.. if only they could understand the truth of it....

the poem is very sadly beautiful

Thank you Ria. It holds alot of truth for me. :)
I like this poem and the way it was written. Your words are moving, nice imagery using the tear drop as the main focus of your poem.

You are more than welcome. Always pleasure.

The second stanza is profound Bev! I can certainly relate to it. While we resist feeling and pain I think it's important to feel. It's almost like a gift, of ownership/acceptance/knowing. I'm sorry I drabble sometimes. Powerful poetry. R x

Thoughts of the dark and silence as if re-sitting the sea walls along the "way"...
