Dear Dandelion

Here's about the weed of strength

Oh! Gorgeous golden dandelions,
You make me envious you know;
Needs just a blow of wind,
Traveling as far as you go.

I heard the crowd once
You carry dreams with you,
straight to our loving ones,
So, is that okay, if I believe you too?

How simple and humble,
yet strong and proud.
Ending all stumbles,
Wheeling forth the clouds.

Oh! how far I wish to go alongside with you,
In a hope to find myself along the way.

Maybe you're just a weed.
Or maybe a seed of belief....

I love this! I love dandelions, they're so underrated. They may be weeds, but are prettier than many flowers I think! And the way you capture them is so beautiful and airy in this poem. Even your title' Dear Dandelion' caught my eye. Have you ever heard of a singer called Gabbie Hanna? She has a song called Dandelion, haha. I'm definitely checking out more of your writing. (:

This is a beautiful read. The way of finding yourself, against the odds, the flight of path that you need to travel upon to reach your goal/destination in a hope... the opening and ending lines of the poem is very well done, the title as well caught my eye..
