Fed up

Fed up

A Poem by Bill

Alone – lonely – how do I feel?
What can I say to make this real?
How can you hate the me I don’t know?
What brings this death I cannot show?

I hear your words ring in my head
Your unspoken wish to see me dead
I see the hate burn in your eyes
You repeat all of your tired lies

Surrounded by the walls you have built
Shadowed by your burden of guilt
How do I live in your prison of life?
What is the reason for all our strife?

I still feel your slap across my cheek
Did you find the answers that you seek?
Will your anger hide your buried pain?
Will this loss be worth what you gain?

I like to write poetry; I would love to actually finish a work of fiction, mostly fantasy, historical fiction, science fiction. Life seems to crowd the stories in my head so that they have a hard tim.. more..
