Never the same

Never the same

A Poem by Unspoken Language

The pain of being hurt endures a sickening feeling that seems to press through your heart and destroy the very being you once were. Every new look seems to have such a old feeling of the sadness that lives within, turning you away from all possible stains that will add onto the marks that already exist or even push away the brush to cover it all up. You lose without playing and winning becomes unknown. Your life feels so empty and your mind seems to be all alone, you say your okay, you say your fine and everything's alright but behind those words are fears that cry out for the only thing to take this all away. Time heals nothing but scars left on your body but time only helps you hide the pain underneath all other pains you've encountered. The sun shines but you still feel the thick dark night choking you, squeezing away all the happiness you try to embrace.
