Lost Uncrowned King

Lost Uncrowned King

A Poem by BlackRabbit17
"

"I tried to be like one of them. I became one. I stood beside them on thrones then a voice told me that it wasn't me at all and so, I went back.

"
Blending in a shrub of roses,
A dandelion thrived.
The thorny hand of crimson subtle laughs
Poisoned the little sun of grass.

In love with the color of hearts,
A petal remained attached.
The wind pulled away
And carried the remains astray.
Adrift in the concept under the water,
The petal awakes.
