Seasons, and people..they're the same.

Seasons, and people..they're the same.

A Poem by Blackbird1968
"

People change just as often as seasons. It's up to you to differentiate whether some one changes for the better or for the worse. You just need to keep going and you need to stay strong.

"
You notice something different in the wind.
It get's colder and it starts to get harsher.
You know it's becoming that time of year
where cider is an essential for that season.

He looks at you differently, not like before
His tone changes and it differs from how he speaks to his friends and to you.
You do what ever you can to make things right, even if it isn't you.
You try to give them space, but the agony of the way things were before, draws you.

The leaves begin disappearing under a white fluffy coat.
It's the giving season, but the weather isn't feel generous.
It covers the grounds and creates a dangerous atmosphere.
Where coats and mittens and hats are essential for that season.

Things start to look up. He looks at you when you are not watching.
As if he is having an epiphany about you.
He realizes how his behavior is affecting you physically and emotionally
His kind words reel you in and you are captivated by it.

The chill calms, and the sun gets warmer. A thin jacket is required.
You can finally take walks and can even see the ground which you've missed since November
Rainy, Rainy, Rainy days. But it beats shoveling snow.
Frogs start to croak, and birds start to sing once again.

You have a great few months, then the cycle seems to repeat itself.
You get the cold shoulder even though you promised yourself you have been good.
He leaves you clueless and gives you strange signals that seem foreign to you.
His aura leaves you wondering aimlessly, confused and slightly distraught.

Grab your bathing suits, grab your sunscreen. You pile in a car off to the beach.
The sun is beaming and for the first time all year, you hope for some cool weather.
The weather begins to feel generous towards the end of August.
It gives up it's chronic heat. And the cycle repeats.

You say your last goodbyes in the driveway.
Both staring at each other hoping that staring at each other will make it any easier.
You feel weak at the knees and as if your heart has been ripped from you.
You fight your tears, but no matter how hard you close your eyes it overcomes you.

You notice something different in the wind.
It get's colder and it starts to get harsher.
You know it's becoming that time of year
where cider is essential for the season.
