Acacia: Not understanding a thing

Acacia: Not understanding a thing

A Chapter by Laura Lynn

Assuredly, they will not worry about printed matter;
Conceive reception, in this space age
Ambivalent waters of the Nile, the Blue Danube
Centimeters, inches, units of tenths and eighths,
Intense memory, a painful jolt into the past,
Amplified flaw, I took your amplified errors
Not understanding a thing for boys or girls,
Opposite perspectives of teams teaming up, not
Negligence; a new page has been written;
Cessation begins and another page shall be
Anatomy of mind, too serious for playgrounds,
Printed matter and those swings.  Surely everything is
Interactive, everything is here in the mall.
Reputedly, working on a project.  I am watching the child
Electronic mail is as special, reserved, if you want
Unplug everything: the appliances, the computer.
Neighbors abound in that town of horses, and where
Acquaintances are free in a certain sense, a meaning is made
'Chalice' and icon, what I said had weight enough
Chalked up promises, instead of land we will have dreams;
Amenities are always nicer and nicer, why let anything run down?
