I glance away as I see him in preparation,
He looks my way and glares at me, wry,
Sharpening his blades in sly anticipation,
I shiver and shake as I hear this one lie.

Knife against whetstone, sounding dread,
I watch him wipe the sweat from his head,
Fear races violently through my veins,
As though it were a few speeding trains.

Lovecraft
I'm not that good with rhyming poetry, so here is one of the few poems I have done that way. Unfortunately I have yet to finish this, it's in the early stages of production. :P

I prefer free-verse, it's just more my style.
