HIDDEN LOVE
March 28, 2014

1.            As I sit thinking of you
You sit there
Oblivious in your chair
Of my feelings for you

2.            Some days when I’m with you
Of these words to say I try
Sometimes I then almost cry
To tell my feelings for you

3.            When I get depressed I sit
And write poems like a twit
‘Cuz a notebook doesn’t care
If I write my feelings there

4.            But I know my poems are in vain
And no one understands my pain

5.            I try to act like it doesn’t affect me
I try to act happy around her
But the truth is I’m dying inside
As if in my heart there’s a bur

6.            But I know I’m never good enough
It’s not that I’m not fit or tough
But how can I be strong
When I’m the one in wrong?

7.            But I realize strength you give me
When my confidence is bended
If it wasn’t for you existing
I long ago would have ended

Author's Note

Blake Kairos
I honestly hate reading crap like this. I wrote this long before I became a better poet, so, feel free to rip it to shreds.
