Water

Water

A Poem by Lady of the Ring

I slip through crowds like water through fingers

I can still feel its presence, the smell lingers

Tonight comes the rain

Relinquishing all the built up pain

I feel like myself, finally me

When it rains, I know it's meant to be

You're here, I can feel it

Come closer, just a bit

Press your body close to mine

Make me lose track of time

It's your element, your heart, you

I know that you feel it, too.

The desperation of your words is very present. This carries a lot of raw emotion with that rain. Well written, my new friend.

Sharing our dark is not a bad thing... just a very lonely way to be when the other - isn't near.

Lovely write flows and says so much in a few lines.

that is really an intersting poem. in very few lines you could say what others may need books to say. i liked both the images of the nature and passion as well as the word picking. thank you for the great work.

Sometimes we just have a precognition
about a persons ability to write well.
This is one of the times I would bet '
on this girl becoming a winner.
Exquisite writing, well done.
