![]() Your LiesA Poem by Christian BonoanLights out, eyes on, as you took my hand I swayed, you stared, till the night’s over You whispered to me softly behind I shivered at the cold December
You’re warm and brawny and white as snow In the cold December of the year There I felt your love, like the stars’ glow I said “I love you” to you my dear
The sun shines just for you and for us I smiled happily as I’m with you As my heart is warm it’s full of trust My love for you is nothing but true
I showed you all of my soul and love You’re scared but you said “I love you too” I cried, like I’m in the sky above Causing rain to my own soul so blue
I gave you love, you gave me roses You showed me things, incredible things I hold your hand, your mind opposes So you lied? But you’re my everything
You said “You’re the one” but is it true? I loved you truly, but why break me? I waited for you till I’m all blue Blue as the sky above so you’ll see
All things went down as fast as your eye You said I’ll wait but now why you’re with? Liar, you are, as I saw goodbye I cried my heart out but never bleed
It hurts, yes, but nothing to fear of My room is all white to clean me up The color glared at the one I loved I walked without you ‘til my heart stop
Stopped feeling, and stopped caring for you Moving on is the word they all say As I cleared my throat to erase you I woke up, happiness in my way
I faced tomorrow the way I should Looking up with a smile on my heart Now I’m in the clear, feeling all good This nothingness ends, the new me starts. © 2016 Christian BonoanReviews
