Momentary and Mindful

Momentary and Mindful

A Poem by Kevin Mundy
"

A short poem about the sometimes real clarity we can have in moments of Mindfulness or in dreams

"
In a quiet realm, not a single soul stirs
Sound remians in the grave still
No mortal wakes up
No rhythm speeds up
Absolute calm

Inside I search a while
Magic lights my dreaming mind
Momentary, mindful
Breathe in, breathe out

The wide expanse lays before us
For transcenders like you and I
Rushing waters frozen in icy grip
A portrait painted in the mind
Pure calm inside

Illuminated, my thoughts I truly see
Moon light reveals a purest silence
Momentary, mindful
Breath in, breath out

Now I stand rooted, steady land underfoot
The morning appears
Against the coming storm
And as time ripples with reality
Departed is my minds tranquility
