Lost in the Oasis

Lost in the Oasis

A Poem by Bohrium Guy
"

Just some passing thoughts...

"

So many grains of sand I walked the vast hills

Hot sun beaming down upon my face no skills

Pain from years of abuse and much sad neglect

Like an hour glass slowly dripping much regret

They told me they loved me and never leave

Yet left me in the desert by hands that deceive

No water or little life just alone each long day

I come to await my reaper for death I do so pray

Flesh heated memories faded by much illusion

Heart strings severed by words of confusion

My soul laid open slowly baking in the heat

I crawl the sand mounds knowing my defeat

Looking into the past like a dark crystal ball

Shouldering the blame and hated by them all

Yet for me I wither the sand storms of time

For errors they commit, love was my crime

Life teaches us many lessons. Some good and some bad.
"Yet for me I wither the sand storms of time
For errors they commit, love was my crime"
Love cannot be a crime. Last real emotion we shall know. Thank you for sharing the outstanding poetry.
