Sunshine Walk

Sunshine Walk

A Poem by Bohrium Guy
"

My mind wonderings in thougt

"

I took a walk today, in the sunlight glow

I see shadows dark, cracks in concrete tow

Grass blowing from the chill in the wind

Seen images of past, reflections transcend

Thoughts of words spoken, pain ripple inside

My body kept pace as my heart slowly died

Turned away past, a time now well put away

Nothing but sidewalk rows and my walk today

Don't cry nor wonder what is becoming of me

I am walking the road I was handed forcibly

There is nothing left and nothing to view here

Just me and my memories that I will hold dear

Memories become less painful and we need them.

Old age had taught me. Old days are just education. Today we must lead with concern, kindness and love. We need to create and built new places and memories to stay sane. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
