Twisted Nightmares

Twisted Nightmares

A Poem by Bohrium Guy
"

Some feelings I retain at night when the nightmares still remain.

"

Sleep, so tired my eyelids beckoning to close

Trying to find the peace as slowly as it goes

As soon as the sheep counts stops it begins

The blasphemy of dreams and shattered sins

Jump awake, not understanding its course

Feelings torn apart but there is no divorce

I reached out to falling hands to assist inside

Yet lose the placed connection undo divide

Why after all must the illusions span for years

The pain and helplessness falling in my tears

A course was set not created by my hand alone

Separation of life a crime everyone did condone

Yet tattered dreams and lost visions will haunt,

and these dreams of saving grace do so taunt.

I am who I am born to be with a greatest gift

My soul however seems to shoulder and drift

Helpless are those that see me in a dark light

I see more then that when I sleep thru the night.

Fog and mist beckoning my mindset anvil spell

Here I reside, alone and confused my own hell.
