Heartless

When you just give up and see little hope...

I was told when a man's heart turns on him, he shall lose all hope.
When a mans heart has been ripped and stripped give him a rope.
There is nothing left, a hole cut out by time wasted on a wish.
Stabbed by others and left open bleeding on a dirty aged dish.

No I scream, I'm empty left to burn whats left cold and secluded,
No dreams, no hope now my thinking of love has left me eluded.
Don't cry or pity me, the damage has all been satisfactorily done
I'm no longer living in hopes and dreams or depending on someone

I will manage without anyone that says they have a spot for me
I will not ever again be told “I love you” for all the world to see
I rather just sit alone and do the things that I can in time
