Bound by guilt carried by family guilt

Shamed by laughter destroyed not built

Caring presence duties to carry her on

Losing herself buried within the dawn

Referee child trying to save family grace

While they control and omit feelings face

She cries at night, no one hears the pleas

What have I done wrong, make it cease

Now adult struggling to find some hope

Sitting alone, tired and held by a rope

Fed guilt and torn feelings afraid to go

That she might find happiness and glow

The battle within tugging at the strings

Emotions battered her heart taking wings

Look to your support you have a way out

Happiness and care will end the drought
