Sweet memories..... maybe but they fade in time.

If only you kept to your words,

I would have given you mine.

If only you gave me the chance,

We could have been divine.

If only you weren't a mirror layered dream,

To scared to take the hand of mine.

If only you remembered my words as you cried in pain,

I held every inch of our line...

This is a great poem that deals with desiring a symbiotic relationship established on trust. If only is a great statement. I often say If is a troublesome word. Great writing.
