Will You Stay?

Some thoughts on some of the people who read and just float away someplace else....

I once was notable in my writes and words here,

Thought of as someone loving and sincere.

Now the time passed and people have grown cold

Passing my writes with little of any thing being told.

Reading a few lines then going to another to sway,

Perhaps due to the fact of nothing you want to say?

Or maybe my write just lost all of its meaning appeal,

That feeling is nothing and there is little that you feel.

No this as you read every line wrote here for display,

I am still the romantic and will write what I feel today.

If you can't relate to words chosen to give you an image,

I guess your still looking for the line called scrimmage.

Love the last line. I have been on here since 2008 or 9, and many writers have left the site, others have passed away. Some of the more popular writers want their work read but have their request button closed. I have mine open but do not get requests at home any more, just on here. Valentine
