Some of my more dark stuff I am feeling tonight

Darkness In Me

Mind flows into a shadow of displacement,
Seeking memories that provide a replacement.
Billowing smoke stirs silent in the undone repair,
A place of cold ice hanging from the corners stair.

Maddening are the people forcing me to perform,
Telling me as if its the calm before the storm.
Pressing lies and opinions they know nothing about,
Telling tales of trouble when they run on self doubt.

Illusions they know what I feel each and every day,
But sit in judgment as they lie through games play.
Claiming to love and be a close bonded family,
While hiding in shadows whispering profanity.

Say what you will this place remains ever cold,
My emotions stay hidden till someone will hold.
My mind and my heart lay in waiting to see,
For someone to erase this darkness in me.
