Exploring the Lore

A poem I wrote up after I finished a books series. I cried for days. Semi-cheesy but still.

I would like to go and explore,

To read books about Lore

Learn of things told before.

I want to go to the core!

I have heard of myths,

Even about a magic blacksmith

Have you heard of wizards?

I know of some that can cause blizzards.

There are tales from folk,

Who tells them in bulk.

How somebody saw an interesting creature,

They say that it even scared the preacher!

I like to read these with a nice cup of tea,

To think of being there personally.

As I come to reality,

My soul feels too much pity,

I then dream of being there.

Which then made me realize I care.

As I end, a tear rolls down my face,

As I dream by  the fireplace.
